Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company has developed some of the finest construction professionals in Hawaii. We strive to recruit and hire the most qualified individuals for our Construction Engineering Program and our projects.

The construction positions we normally seek to fill include PROJECT ENGINEERS, SUPERINTENDENTS, PROJECT MANAGERS, and ESTIMATORS.


CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PROGRAM

Our CONSTRUCTION ENGINEERING PROGRAM develops breadth and expertise in our construction engineers by offering comprehensive training and evaluation for approximately four years. Participants work in various departments like Cost Engineering, Estimating, Project Engineering, and Safety and sometimes for different company divisions (e.g. building, commercial, civil, etc.).

After completing the program, Construction Engineers are typically assigned to one of the following areas: Cost Engineering, Project Engineering or Estimating. Assignments will take into account the engineer’s preference along with company need.


EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES

EXPERIENCED SAFETY ADMINISTRATOR
CHST certified or equivalent.
Construction or waterfront/pier experience highly desirable.
