John A. Burns School of Medicine

Obtained Certified LEED Rating

The University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) was completed in 2005 and received the LEED Certified designation. The 400,000 SF four building project on 10 acres in Honolulu’s Kakaako district is a state-of-the-art, world-class biomedical research facility and medical school. This complex project was the first educational and research facility in Kaka’ako’s redevelopment.

Omidyar K-1 Neighborhood Project
(Ongoing project)

Anticipating Platinum LEED Rating

This new K-1 campus is a Design Assist project consisting of four duplex classroom buildings and a two-story building with classrooms and a Community Room. Work also includes major renovation of Wilcox Hall. A new amphitheater will be built adjacent to Wilcox Hall along with a new PE Pavilion at the upper area of the K-1 Campus.

Housing, Schofield Barracks (Ongoing project)

Anticipating Silver LEED Rating

This Design Build project for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be an 84,000 sf, six story, 96 unit army barracks at Schofield Barracks. All units will be identical 2 bedroom/1 bath barracks units with 16 per floor. The building will be reinforced poured in place concrete utilizing tunnel forms and supported by continuous concrete wall footings.

Pearl Harbor Child Development Center (Ongoing project)

Anticipating Silver LEED Rating

This Design Build project for the U.S. Navy will be a Child Development Center with a single story, 31,000 sf facility providing training and activity rooms and spaces for the care of 304 children from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years. The facility will also include administration, kitchen, laundry and storage spaces. The playground areas with playground surface and playground equipment will be provided.

Maluaka Beach Club Recreation Center (Ongoing project)

Anticipating Gold LEED Rating

This luxury project on Maui will consist of a private beach club, pool, restaurant, bar & exercise pavilion with 2 penthouse condos.
