In Hawaiian, "Pulama" means to "treasure, care for and cherish." It carries the connotation of a deep and profound respect. In Hawaiian, "Honua" means "earth or planet" in a large context. The concept of Honua connects us to the interdependence of all life forms and activities on the planet.
