Hawaiian Dredging resurfaced approximately five miles of the two inbound lanes of Kuihelani Highway with four-inch thick Ultra-Thin White Topping (UTW) concrete pavement. Developing a 3D model to determine the new grades and cross slopes, Hawaiian Dredging was able to integrate the model into the project to control the schedule and shorten the overall construction duration, resulting in less inconvenience to the public.
