As President of Hawaiian Dredging Construction Company, Inc. (Hawaiian Dredging), Mr. Majkut is responsible for executive leadership of the largest and most diverse, full-service general contractor in the State of Hawaii. Mr. Majkut contributes his 32 years of construction, engineering and management experience to continue Hawaiian Dredging’s tradition of quality construction and outstanding client and community relations. Mr. Majkut leads a knowledgeable and experienced executive team, maintaining long-standing relationships while enthusiastically pursuing new business opportunities and engaging in new partnerships and collaborations to foster growth and advancement of the company, and for Hawaii. Having personally managed numerous large scale and complex projects and operations, Mr. Majkut is exceptionally suited to direct Hawaiian Dredging, with its five construction divisions and over 900 professional staff, in its commitment and support of Hawaii through construction excellence.
As the Vice President of Finance, Mr. Murayama brings over 15 years of experience and leadership. Mr. Murayama started his career with Hawaiian Dredging in 2008 as an Assistant Accounting Manager and advanced to the position of Controller that he held for the past fourteen years. His tenure in public accounting, combined with his extensive experience in the construction industry has given him the knowledge and expertise needed to contribute to the success of the organization. With Mr. Murayama’s proven expertise and track record, he is poised to lead the financial team in continuing to support Hawaiian Dredging’s growth and success.
Mr. Wahid has more than 25 years of professional experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, managing business disputes and outside counsels, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Mr. Wahid is a member of the Hawaii State Bar and the California State Bar, and is admitted to practice before Federal District Court (Central, California, Hawaii) and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit. Asdaq has attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and the George Washington University Law School.

Throughout his 30-plus year career at Hawaiian Dredging, Mr. Wong has garnered a diverse and extensive array of preconstruction and project management experience. With a proven track record of excellence in roles such as Preconstruction Manager, and Director of Preconstruction Services, he has honed his skills and acquired an exceptional level of expertise in the knowledge necessary to successfully execute his duties as Vice President. His ability to thoroughly evaluate each project from the early conceptual stage to the final stages of design is a testament to his detailed understanding of the field.
Mr. Holloway is a Vice President of Hawaiian Dredging in charge of HDCC Guam LLC, a fully owned subsidiary of Hawaiian Dredging. Mr. Holloway brings over 40 years of experience in local, national, and international projects including civil, industrial, ground-up building, renovations, and marine. Throughout his career, he has held a series of executive leadership, operational, and project management positions for Federal, Public Works, and Private clients. As the head of HDCC Guam LLC business unit, Mr. Holloway is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s activities on Guam. He has honed his expertise in business and project development, and all aspects of successful project delivery for design-bid-build and design-build project delivery systems and projects up to $600M. With his wealth of construction experience, Mr. Holloway is a proven leader in the industry.
Mr. Hashizume has over 30 years in the construction industry and is a veteran member of the Hawaiian Dredging team. With 10 years of experience as Vice President of the Building Division, Mr. Hashizume leads a large team of experienced engineers and builders, constructing many of the State’s most notable commercial, residential and healthcare projects. Drawing from his own experience as a project manager on many large scale and complex projects, Mr. Hashizume works closely with his team to execute projects that will serve Hawaii for many years to come.
Over the course of his 36 year career in the construction industry, Mr. Silen has acquired extensive experience and knowledge with regard to all aspects of construction. As Vice President of the Commercial Division, Mr. Silen is responsible for the management and oversight of an operations staff of twenty-two experienced professionals specializing in single and multi-family residential, healthcare, education and diverse commercial projects. Under Mr. Silen’s careful guidance and working as a tight-knit team, the Commercial Division has successfully delivered countless renovation, restoration, remediation and new construction projects throughout the State of Hawaii. As a result, Mr. Silen and the Commercial Division have a well-deserved reputation for consistently achieving the highest level of client satisfaction through effective communication, quality construction, and a genuine commitment to safety.
Mr. Dempsey has spent over 30 years in the industry specializing in heavy/civil construction. Leading Hawaiian Dredging’s Heavy Division, Mr. Dempsey works with a wide range of private clientele and public agencies to continually build and improve infrastructure for the State of Hawaii. Many of the projects executed by Mr. Dempsey and the Heavy Division are iconic, representing the State’s continually growing economy and travel infrastructure advancements. A pioneering achievement for Mr. Dempsey’s skilled team recently came in the form of the only curved inverted tied-arch concrete bridge in the United States.
Mr. Ota is the Vice President of the Waterfront and Foundations Division, or more commonly known as the Waterfront Division, and a veteran member of the Hawaiian Dredging family. Under his guidance, the Waterfront Division has continued the long-standing tradition of building and maintaining structures along the State’s waterfront. Mr. Ota has over 30 years in the construction industry and uses his broad range of knowledge and expertise to maintain Hawaiian Dredging’s position as a leader in waterfront construction and more recently, advance technology and team capabilities of deep foundation work for various projects in the State.
Mr. Valentine began his construction career over 30 years ago and continues to lead skilled teams on projects are rarely seen but have great impact on society and our ability to live comfortably. Mr. Valentine is the Division Manager for Hawaiian Dredging’s experienced Power & Industrial Division. He has a hands-on management style and the knowledge needed to execute complex infrastructure projects, often at the cutting edge of technology. Mr. Valentine’s team continues to successfully partner with industry leaders to produce and maintain green energy solutions and efficient wastewater treatment systems.
