As any retailer knows quite well, business spaces in Waikiki command the highest rent and land sales costs in the state. Hawaiian Dredging was selected to construct the 110,000 square foot retail complex to house the high end tenants the likes of which include Tiffany’s and Gucci.
Project was designed to be a series of individual urban storefronts rather than a single retail center or mall concept with Hawaiian Dredging constructing the shell and core building along with tenant storefronts that incorporated travertine and/or limestone from Italy or Spain with clay roof tiles. The building shell was constructed with structural steel framing and concrete topping on metal pan decking.
