Located in Honolulu’s Salt Lake-Moanalua neighborhood, Country Club Village 6 is a 17-story condominium comprised of 269 units and a six-and-a-half story parking garage with 514 stalls. Construction of the residential tower was achieved through Hawaiian Dredging’s unprecedented use of tunnel form concrete construction for mid-rise tower applications. As a result of the tunnel forming approach that allows for floors and the suspended walls to be poured simutaneously, Hawaiian Dredging was able to pour an entire floor in four days and complete the project two months ahead of schedule. Besides the speed of construction, the tunnel formed concrete offered enhanced structural strength due to the monolithic floor/wall sections afforded by the tunnel forming technique.
Due to its tropical coral/teal color scheme and attractive structural design and landscaping, the Country Club Village 6 is a definite asset to the neighborhood and complements the adjacent golfing country club from which its name was coined. This is “Country Club” living!
